Er. Ankita Prakash Shinde, an MTech student from the Department of Soil and Water Engineering at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been honoured with the prestigious “ISTE National Award for Best MTech.
Thesis in Agricultural Engineering 2023.” Her thesis, “Assessment of Groundwater Recharge Potential of Village Pond using Geospatial Techniques,” received high accolades.
Er. Shinde completed her thesis under the expert guidance of Dr. Sanjay T. Satpute, Scientist, Department of Soil and Water Engineering, PAU, Ludhiana. This significant achievement highlights the innovative research being conducted at PAU.
Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor of PAU; Dr Manav Indra Singh Gill, Dean of Postgraduate Studies; Dr Manjeet Singh, Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology; and Dr J.P. Singh, Head of the Department of Soil and Water Engineering, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Er. Shinde and her advisor for this remarkable accomplishment.
