The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Literary Society was reconstituted on the World Poetry Day today. This society has contributed enormously in promoting Punjabi literature among the youths at agricultural research institution like PAU. Prof Gurbhajan Gill, former Senior Editor (Punjabi), PAU, is the Chief Patron, while Dr Jagtar Singh Dhiman, former Additional Director Communication and Dr Nirmal Jaura, former Public Relations Officer, PAU, are the Patrons of the society.
Dr TS Riar, Additional Director Communication, is a Supervisor, whereas Dr Anil Sharma, Assistant Director (TV/Radio), and Dr Jagwinder Singh, Editor (Punjabi), have been appointed as its President and General Secretary, respectively. Dr Devinder Dilroop and Dr Gurbir Kaur, are the Joint Secretary and Treasurer of the society, respectively.
The Executive members comprise Dr Nilesh Biwalkar, Dr Ravinder Chandi, Dr Ranjit Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Inderjeet Saini and Palwinder Bassi.
