On the Commemorating 550th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, being celebrated by the Sikh congregation with sheer enthusiasm and spirit all around the World. In Singapore the Sikh Community is also organizing events based on the preachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Singapore.
Punjab based Lawyer Mr. Harpreet Sandhu, who is also working on the mission to promote the Sikh Symbols and the Sikh Historical Monuments by publishing pictorial calendars, authoring booklets projecting the spiritual symbols in form of pictorial visuals Harpreet Sandhu presented the portrait of Sri Palki Sahib clicked by him at Darbar Sahib Amritsar dedicated to the Commemorating 550th Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, for Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Singapore through the Management and members of Istri Dal Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Singapore.
The Head Granthi Bhai Lakhwinder Singh, performed Ardas and thereafter the portrait was placed within Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Singapore. The management of Gurudwara Sahib applauded Harpreet Sandhu for this noble gesture as an educative step highlighting the Sikh Symbols amongst the Sikh community based in Singapore.
Harpreet Sandhu stated that Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha in Singapore was officially declared open in year 1984 and since then is playing active role and is giving full support to promote Punjabi language and the Sikh religion among the Sikhs in Singapore
