Padma Shri Pargat Singh, MLA and AICC Secretary, expressed profound grief over the passing of beloved Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda, saying the entire Punjab had prayed for his recovery, and today every heart is heavy with sorrow.
He said that while the tragic accident did not occur in Punjab, the loss has shaken every Punjabi. “The manner in which this young talent lost his life highlights the urgent need to strengthen road safety measures and curb the menace of stray animals across the country. Accountability must be fixed, and lessons must be learned,” Pargat Singh said.
He added, “The true tribute to Rajvir Jawanda will be ensuring that no other promising life is lost to negligence again.”
