As the message of universal love and religious tolerance propounded by Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji engulfed the still night, the atmosphere was filled with a deep sense of gratitude, peace and dedication for causes ailing humanity.
The unique Digital Museum and engrossing Light and Sound Shows being organised by Captain Amarinder Singh Government as part of elaborate schedule to celebrate the 550th Prakash Purb saw massive crowds thronging the venue during these days culminating today.
More than ten thousand devotees have already visited the Museum showcasing various events of Guru Sahib, disclosed the Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar Mr. Girish Dayalan adding that similar number have witnessed the mesmerising Light and Sound show. The hi-tech museum and Light Shows were organised for three days in Sports Stadium Sector-78 Mohali ending today. The shows, to be organised across the state, will now move to Ludhiana from 11 to 13th October, the DC added.
Under the leadership of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh the state government has chalked out a diverse plan of activities which would be organised to spread Guru Ji’s message of universal love and amity. The Chief Minister, who had been personally monitoring the preparations for the main event to be held in November next month, had issued strict directions to leave no stone unturned for ensuring a lifetime experience for devotees coming to pay obeisance during the celebrations, the DC added.
The Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan said that more than ten thousand people have visited the Digital Museum and besides, the light and sound show is also attracting audience in large numbers. He said that the main rationale behind these is to ensure that the younger generation gets to know about the life and the philosophy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji which was based on communal harmony, peace and amity, Brotherhood and considered humanity as above all.
