NRIs will strongly support Sidhu if any action is taken against him: NRI World Organisation

Sydney, June 1, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)

The convenor NRI World Organisation Dr Amarjit Tanda at Rosehill said to the press that we all NRIs will strongly protest globally in case any action is taken aginst Mr Sidhu and shall approach Congress high command to review the decision.

Dr Tanda said that no other minister in the cabinet worked with as much efficiency transparency as Navjot Sidhu did. The Urban Development department was a rudderless ship when he joined it. But in the last two years, he succeeded in generating Rs 6,000 crore and completing all pending projects on a war footing. The department didn’t even have five paisa. There was no money to give salaries to employees, no vision, no accountability and no question raised over its functioning.

However Sidhu said he will not object if the government decides to change his portfolio. “If I have made any mistake, I am ready to accept it 100 times,”.

Dr Tanda said that Navjot Sidhu is an honest, hard working, top player, best speaker and a helping kind man who gives from his pocket.

He is being unfairly targeted within his own party. There are eight or nine people who in the past also wanted me to be thrown out of the party, but I have never spoken a word against them,” Dr Tanda quoted Sidhu as saying.

Dr. Tanda said, Sidhu’s closeness with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan helped and he played full role in Kartarpur Sahib corridor. He dropped the vote margin in Bathinda.

Dr. Tanda said, Sidhu has given his report card openly and other sycophant ministers should also be asked to submit their work performance. We the NRIs world wide shall also compare the performance of all Punjab ministers, he said.
