NRI Harjinder Lidhar announces Sports Kits for 250 players of Surjit Hockey Academy

US based NRI and eminent sports Promoter Harjinder Singh Lidhar said that Surjit Hockey Academy has made a significant contribution in the development of hockey.

Mr. Iqbal Singh Sandhu, Honorary Secretary, Surjit Hockey Society said that ongoing from the last 4 months hockey coaching center run by Surjit Hockey Academy under Surjit Hockey Academy, Jalandhar was visited today by NRI and eminent sports promoter from US Harjinder Singh Lidharh.

On this occasion, Harjinder Singh Lidharh, who hails from village Lidharhan in Jalandhar district, blessed the budding players.

Lidherh said that the participation of more than 250 players in this hockey training center and the manner in which the players are being imparted training by experienced coaches like Olympian Rajinder Singh (Dronacharya Awardee) and Davinder Singh will inevitably yield good results, which will not only benefit Punjab hockey but also Indian hockey in the future.

Lidharh also announced to provide sports kits to all the 250 players of Surjit Hockey Academy, which would include T-shirts, shorts, socks, shin guards, etc. Lidharh appealed to all the parents to send their kids for free hockey coaching and save the future of their children by adopting the game of hockey.

On this occasion, Natha Singh Gakhal, Balwinder Singh Mahey, Sarpanch, Lidhar, Gaurav Mahajan, Bunty Neelkanth, Surinder Singh Bhapa, Director (Training), Surjit Hockey Academy, Harbhajan Singh (USA), Kuljit Singh etc. were present.
