Smit Singh Sidhu, a relative and close associate of PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu has clarified that he holds no desire for any political role or positions.
Smit Singh Sidhu, who is an International Sportsperson, reacting to some reports in a section of media that he was tipped to be appointed as Media Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, said, “As a humble public servant, I am neither accepting or refusing, nor seeking or offered.
I have served the People of Punjab and India for years as an international sportsperson and simultaneously as a humble worker, working for social work in Pro People NGOs.
I continue to do it with my research abilities, thoughts and actions. Whatever my skill and passion can bear fruit, it is for service of the people. I hold no desire for political role or positions “
