NCC Cadets conduct enthralling Horse Show at GADVASU

Cadets from 1 Pb R & V SQN NCC presented an enthralling horse show. The show was conducted under the guidance of Col. S.K. Bhardwaj Commanding Officer of the Unit. The show was conducted as an opening event of the 243rd Remount Veterinary Corps (RVC) day. Dr. Satyavan Rampal, DSW-cum –EO of GADVASU was the chief Guest on the occasion.

As the students and cadets came after a long lay off due to COVID-19, the show was organised to break the shackles and let the cadets show their equestrian skills and also to motivate the other students of College of Veterinary Science to take up this adventure sports.

The event started with cadets entering the arena with Flags of India, NCC and GADVASU. Followed by various events like musical ride with different formations, Six Bar jumping, Show Jumping and Tent Pegging.

The audience gave huge applause seeing the valour of the horse riders and their horseman ship. The Chief guest Felicitated the cadets and showered praise on them as the cadets were managing studies as well as the adventure sports of equestrian.

Col. S.K. Bhardwaj was all praise for cadets as the cadets gave an excellent display of horsemanship in such a short span after this COVID forced loackdown of the training activities. He also praised Junior Commission Officer Y.B. Tiwari and ex-cadets who trained the cadets and prepared them for this event.
