Members of the Sikh community Led by Sh Manjinder Singh Sirsa President Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee today launched a massive protest outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi today by raising slogans against Pakistan Prime Minister and Pakistan Govt establishment to protest against vandalism at the revered Nankana Sahib Gurdwara , the birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev ji in Pakistan yesterday and requested the international community to pressurise Pakistan to take immediate steps to ensure the safety and security of the Sikh community both visiting pilgrims who regularly visit holy shrine and Sikh families residing in Pakistan.
The Sikh community members also submitted a memorandum at the Pakistan High Commission asking pakistan govt to explain the failure of law enforcing agencies in Pakistan and told pakistan govt that sikh community will take direct action against the elements responsible for desecration of holy sikh shrine if action against the perpetrators of violence and vandalism is not taken immediately by Pakistan Govt .
Sh Manjinder Singh Sirsa President Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and National Spokesperson of Shiromani Akali Dal told that they have submitted memorandum to pakistan high commission asking pakistan govt to explain the failure of law enforcing agencies in Pakistan and told pakistan govt that sikh community will take direct action against the elements responsible for desecration of holy sikh shrine and demanded strong action against the rowdy elements which are working at behest of Pakistan ISI
The memorandum said that this incident has happened where a demand has been made to convert a holy sikh religious place into a mosque and told pakistan authorities in plain terms that sikh community is ready to make supreme sacrifice to uphold the sanctity of the holy place which is revered by millions of people of all faiths and religion world wide .
The memorandum said that sikhs has always fought to atrocities of mughal rulers and sikhs community has the glorious history of fighting tyrant muslim rulers like Aurangzeb, Zakriya Khan, Wazir Khan and sikh warrior General Bhagel Singh was responsible for end of the mughal rule in India and history will repeat itself again if Pakistan failed to act in this case .
The Memorandum questioned the silence of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on this issue concerning millions people worldwide who is otherwisee hyper social media activist and reacts on every issue but is maintaing deaf silence on this issue while speaks a volume on repeated times and said that they will take revenge in the language which was used by these goons promoted by Pakistan Govt and ISI.
The Memorandum was signed by President Manjinder Singh Sirsa, General Secretary Harmeet Singh Kalka, Senior vice president Bibi Ranjeet Kaur, Joint Secretary Harvinder Singh Kepi.
