Bains opens one side of Nangal Railway Flyover for commuters

Mr. Harjot Singh Bains Cabinet Minister Punjab’s tireless efforts bear fruit today as he inaugurated the one side of the Nangal Railway Flyover for committers on Thursday. For the last several years, commuters of Punjab-Himachal Pradesh were facing hassle from the problem of traffic chaos to pass the Nangal dam bridge.
After the religious ceremonies, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains drove two-wheeler over the fly over. A large number of Nangal area residents witness this historic moment and thanked the Punjab government for working for the welfare of people.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the dream of opening Nangal Flyover has come true today. The residents of Nangal city and the people of nearby villages were suffering for a long time for the last 6 years.
He said thet the side of flyover is opened today thou another side will be soon opend after the approvel of experts . He announced that the work of bridge on Bhuri Chowk and Jawahar Market will also soon starts which will change the face of the entire Nangal city.
Mr. Bains said that Possibilities are being explored to promote tourism in the area. He said that with the start of this flyover, Nangal’s business will be more prosperous. now commuters of Himachal Pradesh twill not face the problem of traffic jams, it is now over.
Smooth vehicular movement will be a boon for this area.
He said that people were misled for the about this railway flyover for the last several years, while there were major obstacles in the construction of this flyover and no efforts were made for approvals.
Mr. bains said that in the last one and a half years, to resolve the problems We have held dozens of meetings with Center goverenment and the Ministry of Railways to remove the obstacles, dozens of times discussed the project in detail with the officials and today we are happy to fulfill our promise to the people of Nangal and surrounding areas. He said that this railway flyover has become a life line for the area.
Dr. Sanjiv Gautam, Rohit Kalia President Truck Union Nangal, Sohan Singh Bains, Balwinder Kaur Bains, Deepak Soni Media Coordinator, Daljit Singh Kaka Nangra and Bachitar Singh were present on this occasion.
