Nanavati Commision had indicted Rajiv Gandhi for organizing 1984 Sikh Genocide: Sirsa

The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) President Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa today said that Nanavati Commission set up by the Vajpayee government had found that instruction to carry out genocide had come from then PM Rajiv Gandhi’s office and this fact is a part of government record.

In a statement released here today, Mr. Sirsa said that the findings of Nanavati commission had exposed the real culprit and chief planner and organizer of the Genocide in which the government ordered killing of its own citizens from Sikh community.

He said that Indira Gandhi was assassinated on October 31st but no violence took place that day and very next day on November 1st. But after Rajiv Gandhi took oath as Prime Minister he ordered his loyal workers Sajjan Kumar, HKL Bhagat, Jagdish Tytler, Kamalnath and others to avenge the killing of his mother. ‘These persons were provided chemicals and weapons and houses of Sikhs were marked for them”, quipped Mr. Sirsa.

He said that keeping view findings of Nanavati Commission Government of India should withdraw Bharat Ratan from Rajiv Gandhi. He said that a person who is organizer of genocide against Sikh community that too when he was on Constitutional post of Prime Minister, he cannot be a Bharat Ratan.

The DSGMC President said that after this genocide Mr. Rajiv Gandhi threatened Police and judiciary in his public speech signaling them to keep off the culprits. He said that nobody had ever imagined that Sajjan Kumar, main accused will be sent to life sentence in jail after 34 years. He said that these persons who were gems for Gandhi family and had never even gone to Hawalat will not spend their entire life in jail. He said that this became possible only when the NDA government took action.

Mr. Sirsa said that they have given complaint against Kamalnath whom Mr. Rahul Gandhi has made Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and they are hopeful that after investigation by SIT, Kamalnath will also be sent to jail in the company of Sajjan Kumar. He said that they are pursing the matter vigorously and will do everything needed legally to send this accused to jail.
