Chandigarh, April 6, 2021 (Yes Punjab News)
A delegation headed by National President of Gau Sewa Mission Swami Krishnanad ji Maharaj met the Punjab Governor VP Badnore and apprised him of the lackadaisical approach of Punjab police in arresting the accused in case of mutilated parts of cows’ bodies found in Bhikhi canal of district Mansa.

Giving detailed information to Mr Badnore he said that on March 16, mutilated body parts of cows were found floating on the Bhikhi canal.

Gau Sewak Sameer Chhabra informed the Punjab police that reached the spot and got post mortem of corpses conducted and case was registered at police station Bhikhi under Cow Slaughter Act 1955.

Swami Krishnanand Ji Maharaj added that it was a matter of shame that since March 16, Punjab police has not done anything substantial against the accused. They gau sewaks have been talking to police and civil administration but nothing has been done in this context.

The delegation alleged that instead of using Cow-Cess, collected worth crores, for cows the Punjab government has bungled up these funds. No justice can be expected from police of such state government.

They added that people of Mansa believe that the place from where canal comes, has the accused committing crime under aegis of Punjab police.

The delegation demanded that this case be handed over to CBI for fair and transparent inquiry.

Delegation also included Sanatan Dharam Sabha district Mansa former President Sameer Chhabra, Gau Sewa mission pracharak Atul Krishna Shastri ji Maharaj, National Vice-president Gau Sewa Mission Sandeep Chugh, district Mansa gausewa cell’s President Robin Jindal and Joshi Foundation chairman and senior BJP leader Vineet Joshi.
