Television actor Mohsin Khan has announced his engagement to Tamanna with an emotional social media post, recalling the first time they met and describing the moment as one when he realised he had found his “Person”.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor shared photographs from the intimate engagement ceremony on Instagram along with a heartfelt note for his fiancée.
Describing Tamanna as “crazy beautiful, confident” and “sensitive”, Mohsin said she was someone who was always laughing, teasing, hoping, praying, dancing and singing.
Recalling their first meeting, he wrote: “The first time we looked at each other, the first time I held your hand to the first time you sang ‘Hum toh bhai jaise hai waise rahenge’, I knew something within me settled. I had found my Person.”
The pictures showed the couple posing together with flowers in classic black-and-white outfits. In other photographs, Tamanna appeared in a white dress and later a red gown, while Mohsin wore a black suit with a white shirt and red tie. She was also seen displaying her engagement ring.
In his post, Mohsin reflected on the beginning of their relationship and the idea of finding a life partner at the right moment.
“Maybe our story was already written in the stars. Or maybe, once in a lifetime, two people simply find each other at exactly the moment they were always meant to,” he wrote.
As they begin their new journey together, Mohsin described the relationship as one built around “Love, Friendship & a Lifetime of Memories”. He also quoted lines from Tamanna’s favourite film while expressing his wish that she would always remain happy.
“Of all the promises we have made and all the dreams we are yet to dream, perhaps the most beautiful one is this…. to find a home in each other,” he wrote, concluding the post with a message celebrating “the beginning of our forever”.
The announcement drew congratulatory messages from several television industry colleagues and friends. Divyanka Tripathi and Shraddha Arya wished the couple, while Samridhii Shukla said they looked beautiful together and wished them a lifetime of happiness. Nia Sharma also sent her love and good wishes.
Mohsin rose to prominence with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in which he played Kartik Goenka opposite Shivangi Joshi’s Naira Singhania. His portrayal of Kartik earned him a strong fan following and established him as a prominent television actor.
