Punjab Horticulture and Defence Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat today laid the foundation stone of a Rs. 48 lakh development project at 120-Feet Road, marking another milestone in the city’s development drive.
The project includes renovation of the Satguru Ravidass Community Hall, featuring the upgradation of the parking area, laying of new tiles, construction of modern bathrooms, and cleanliness works, among other improvements. The Minister said these initiatives will give a new and modern look to the community hall, making it more convenient for residents to host religious and social gatherings.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister said that the renovation of this important facility will greatly benefit the local community by providing improved infrastructure and amenities. He emphasized that the Punjab Government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is fully committed to the holistic development of the state, ensuring that there is no shortage of funds for public welfare and community development projects.
