Moga man killed, 2 injured in Jalandhar accident

A man from Moga was killed in an accident here while two others travelling with him in his Hyundai Creta car were injured after their car hit the divider on the road.

A person who tried to flee away after stealing a gold chain of the injured was chased and caught by the people and handed over to the police.

Aman Sood son of Parveen Sood, a resident of Moga was killed while Vikas son of Balkrishan and Gurpreet Singh son of Surinder Singh, both also from Moga were injured as the vehicle in which they were travelling lost its balance after a speeding Innova vehicle reportedly overtook it. The Creta numbered PB 29 R 0088 went out of control and hit the divider near Suchi Pind on Jalandhar-Amritsar Highway.

All the injured were rushed to a private hospital where Aman Sood, who was driving the car was declared brought dead.

The three it has been learnt deal in Water Purifiers at Moga and were going from Moga to Jammu when their vehicle they ran out of luck and their vehicle met with the accident.

As the accident happened, a person who came to the accident site, took away a gold chain worn by Aman Sood and tried to flee away but was nabbed by people after a hot chase and handed over to the police.
