Cabinet Minister, Punjab Mr. Vijay Inder Singla inaugurated the Sub Divisional Magistrate’s office at Balad Kothi, Bhawanigarh today. Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ghanshyam Thori and SDM Mr. Ankur Mahindru were also present on this occasion.
Addressing on this occasion Cabinet Minister Mr. Singla said that there will be no stone unturned to ensure all sub divisional facilities and permanent deployment of other officers, including the Sub Divisional Magistrate in Bhawanigarh.
Mr. Singla said that the old building has been renovated for the convenience of the people of the sub-division. He also directed the concerned authorities to ensure proper parking arrangement near the building so that people could not face any problem for parking of vehicles. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Singla said that there is a proposal for setting up modern parking on PPP model to solve the complex traffic problem in Bhawanigarh city.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ghanshyam Thori said that Balad Kothi has been upgraded to set up SDM office with the personal interest and efforts of Cabinet Minister Mr. Singla so that administrative works, including the pending court cases matters, could be dealt on a priority basis.
On this occasion Xen Public Works Department Mr. Vipan Bansal, SDO Mr. Ajay Garg and Mohit Jindal were also present.
