To earn expensive smile of fortune one has to toil hard and shouldn’t leave any chance to try luck again and again. Parwinder Singh of Moga exactly did the same and today he is a crorepati. 34-years-old Parwinder Singh, a resident of Nathuwala Jadid village had never thought even in his wildest dreams that he would become a crorepati overnight.
Finally, fortune knocked at the door of marginal farmer Parwinder, who had just a one acre land. Punjab State Baisakhi Bumper-2019 draw proved to the ‘Aladdin ka Chirag’ for Parwinder Singh, as he won the first prize of Rs 2 crore.
Parwinder Singh said that they, he and his father, had been trying their luck since a long time, and even they had bought two tickets so many times. Now, they were almost worn out. He said that they were going back to his village from Moga and he saw a lottery ticket stall. He braked the motorcycle reluctantly to buy a ticket and it has become a biggest break of his life.
Father of two toddlers, Parwinder said that Punjab Government’s lottery has made his life easy and now he has no worries about his children’s education.
He has all praise for Punjab State Lotteries Department’s officials, who took over all botheration to get him the prize money at the earliest.
