Sh. Surendra Lamba, IPS, SSP Mansa told that Mansa police got a big success in its campaign against bad social elements. In this series, CIA staff Mansa and Police party of PS Sadar Mansa arrested 5 members of a robber gang of 6 and One country made Pistol 315 bore along 1 Cartridge, One Air Pistol, One Sword, One Kirch, One Water Pump Handle, 4 Motorcycles, 8 Mobile phones, 8100/-rs cash along with documents and One Axe is recovered. One member of the gang Manpreet Singh @ Bhundi S/o Billu Singh r/o Mansa who had left for recce, is yet to be arrested.
It was possible due to the tight security arrangements and round the clock vigil being maintained by the District Police.
On 27th of November, 2020, Police Party of CIA Staff Mansa got information that 6 members of a robber’s gang namely Badal Singh S/o Jagtar Singh R/o Malakpur Khiala, Gagandeep Singh @ Gaggi S/o Baldev Singh, Ajay Kumar @ kali S/o Sai datta, Sukhi Singh S/o Titu Singh, Manpreet Singh @ Bhundi S/o Billu Singh all R/o Mansa and Gurpal Singh @ Bagga S/o Bikkar Singh R/o Burj Jhabbar are planning for a big crime near abandoned bricks kiln, Khokhar Kalan. On this, FIR No. 473 dated 27-11-2020 u/s 399,402 IPC, 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Sadar Mansa has been registered.
Police party of CIA Staff Mansa and PS Sadar Mansa jointly cordoned the area in a planned way and captured 5 members of the gang namely Badal Singh S/o Jagtar Singh R/o Malakpur Khiala, Gagandeep Singh @ Gaggi S/o Baldev Singh, Ajay Kumar @ kali S/o Sai datta, Sukhi Singh S/o Titu Singh all R/o Mansa and Gurpal Singh @ Bagga S/o Bikkar Singh R/o Burj Jhabbar.
At the spot, one country made Pistol 315 bore along 1 Cartridge, One Air Pistol, One Sword, One Kirch, One Water Pump Handle, 4 Motorcycles, 8 Mobile phones, 8100/-rs cash along with documents and One Axe were also taken in possession.
All the accused have criminal background and are involved in 10 FIRs. Rest of the accused will be arrested soon. The accused will be produced before the court and police remand will be sought and deep investigation will be conducted to know about the other crimes committed by this gang and to know the detail of other cases registered against them.

Recovery: Two Mobile phones.
2) FIR No: 464 dated 19-11-2020 u/s 379 B IPC PS Sadar Mansa was registered regarding snatching of 10,000/-rs One Mobile phone from Teja Singh R/o Khillan and snatching of 5,000/-rs and One Mobile phone from Neeraj Kumar R/o Mansa.
Recovery: Two Mobile phones and One Axe.
3) FIR No: 472 dated 26-11-2020 u/s 379 B IPC PS Sadar Mansa was registered regarding snatching of 8100/-rs, One Mobile phone, One tablet from employee of Credit Care network Company.
Recovery: Cash 8100/-rs and One mobile phone and One tablet with Documents.
4) FIR No: 161 dated 20-11-2020 u/s 382 IPC PS Joga was registered regarding snatching of Motorcycle No: PB-31B-8641 from Nirmal Singh R/o Bhupal Khurd.
Recovery: Motorcycle Plantina Bazaz.
