Finance Minister Manpreet Badal today instructed the Deputy Commissioner and SSP Bathinda to ensure safety of school children especially those travelling in buses and vans.
The minister asked both the district heads to hold talks with school management of all the schools in the district in this regard.
He termed the incident of the death of four school children in Longowal (Sangrur) as very unfortunate.He stated that such incidents should not take place in future and we all must ensure that all precautionary measures are taken by the authorities.
He said that strict actions are required so that all the schools should comply with the necessary instructions in this regard.
