As per the directions of NALSA, PAN India awareness and outreach programme is being celebrated from 2nd October, 2021 to 14th November, 2021 as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” and Legal Services week from 8th November to 14th November, 2021 as a part of this campaign. Under the able guidance of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sh. Ajay Tewari, Executive Chairman, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar-cum-Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh , NALSA has issued the directions to organize District/State level film making competition (shdort duration films on awareness) for class 9th to 12th or children ranging from 15 to 18 years.
In view of thatdirections, Hon’ble Executive Chairman has been pleased to approve the organization of the film making competition in state in effective and constructive manner. To participate in this competition, application form alongwith terms and conditions of the competition can be downloaded from www.pulsa.punjab.gov.in and last date of submission of application is 8.11.2021.
In this regard, video conference was conducted with the incharges of Legal Literacy Clubs in Schools by Ms Parminder Kaur, CJM Secretary, DLSA, Patiala. During this, they were sensitized regarding film making competition.
Apart from this, Panel Advocates have been deputed in Government and Private schools to sensitize the teachers and students to participate in this film making competition.
Ms Parminder Kaur, CJM/Secretary revealed that no entry fee will be charged for submitting the application. She further told that appreciation letters will be issued to each participant and awards in form of books of the choice of the winner worth Rs. 15000/- as Ist Prize, Rs. 10000/- as 2nd Prize and Rs. 5000/- as 3rd prize will be given to the selected entries.
