A Legal Notice has been served on Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee for allowing Shiromani Akali Dal Badal to run its office in the premises of Gurdwara Rakab Ganj.
The Notice sent by Jagminder Singh through Advocate Kuljeet Singh to DSGMC through its Manager, has quoted certain provisions of law indicating that no religious institution or manager thereof shall use or allow of any premises belonging to, or under the control of, the institution for the promotion or propagation of any political activity.
Stating that SAD is a political party which is being allowed to run its operations from an office in Gurdwara Rakab Ganj foregoing all the expenses, the amount of which could be used for the upliftment of the community.
It has also been urged that the DSGMC should ask the SAD to evict the office and pay arrears till date.
