Leaders from other parties from Sunam, Ghanour & Khanna join SAD in presence of Sukhbir Badal

The Shiromani Akali Dal received big shot in arm when many senior leaders of Congress, AAP and BJP joined Akali Dal in presence of party chief Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal. Leaders from Sunam, Ghanour and Khanna joined the party.

In a statement released here today, It was informed that from Sunam 66 people from various political parties, including Indian National Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and the Dhindsa faction, joined Akali Dal today. Similarly from Khanna Harsimranjit Singh Richi Special Invitee Working Committee BJP Punjab and his associates Kaninderjit Singh, Puninder Jit Singh, Pawan Saddi, Deepak Chaudhary, Pritpal Singh sheffy, Parmjit Singh and Surinder Singh Manchanda joined Akali Dal. Likewise 42 leaders from Ghanour have joined Akali Dal in presence of S. Sukhbir Singh Badal. On the occasion Baldev Singh Mann, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra and other senior leaders were also present.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, S. Badal said that today more and more people were joining Akali Dal as it is only party of the state which takes decision for people of the state on the spot in Punjab only whereas other parties are run by remote control from Delhi. He said that today people were eagerly waiting for return of SAD led Government in power as they have realized that all other parties including Congress have made false promises by taking false oath of holy Gutka Sahib at Talwani Sabo only with a sole motive to get power.

He said that when Congress is divided into a number of Kabilas, its leaders too are looking towards Akali Dal to lead the state and restore all that development works which have been stalled by Congress government and also restoration of social welfare schemes including old age pension and Shagun scheme.
