The Bar Council has called upon the legal fraternity of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh to abstain from work on 4th of November to show solidarity with their brethrens in Delhi.
The call comes in the wake of brutal attack on Advocates in Delhi by the Delhi police.
The Bar Council resolved to condemn cowardly malfeasance by police officials.
The lawyers fraternity has demanded immediate arrest of erring officials and a judicial probe into the incident.
