Actor-filmmaker Kunal Kemmu has opened up about his journey of exploring different aspects of filmmaking, saying his enduring love for cinema and the support of audiences continue to motivate him.
Kunal shared a video montage on Instagram featuring reviews of his latest release Vibe. Thanking audiences for their response, he urged those who have not watched the film yet to include it in their plans.
Reflecting on his career, Kunal said his journey has involved constantly experimenting with different creative roles, including acting, writing, directing and producing.
“It’s been a journey trying to do different and new things. Acting, writing, directing, producing. Trust me, the only thing that keeps me going is this never-ending love for movies and the incredible love and support that you guys have always shown me,” he wrote.
Kunal added that his biggest aim was to entertain audiences and make them proud, while acknowledging that he notices and values their feedback.
Vibe is an action thriller comedy starring Kunal alongside Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava and debutant Vanshika Dhir. The film marks Kunal’s second outing as a writer-director after Madgaon Express (2024), while also marking his debut as a producer.
Developed as a spin-off of Madgaon Express, the film features Kunal’s character Hardik, who had made a special appearance in the earlier movie.
The story follows best friends Hardik and Bugs, an unqualified pair who are unexpectedly recruited by the mysterious Madam H for a mission to protect India from a major terrorist threat.
