Mr Kulwin Seehra, Executive Director, GNA Axles Ltd having long standing global presence owed to experience in the development and manufacturing has taken charge as the Chairman of Assocham Punjab Council.
Mr Seehra will head the Assocham’s Punjab Council, elaborating on the priorities for the Punjab Council of Assocham, Mr Seehra shared, “We will work in the best interest of all the industries and share policy related inputs with the state Government. A new world order is in the process of making as the country is coming out of lockdown.
Punjab should grab this golden opportunity to grow. With the easing of the lockdown, the supply part is ready but demand is low. Although, some rate cut in GST and income tax can help, which might be a tough decision for Government, I would suggest some more stimulus packages, besides the ones announced, would help boost the demand.”
Further sharing his views on the current scenario and global positioning of India and the invitation to Hon’ble Prime Minister by President Donald Trump for the G7 Summit, Mr Seehra added that this would be a great motivator for the industry, as India gets to participate with the world’s economically advanced countries and gets a better chance to serve the global Economy.
He further added that his motive would be to build a strong and diverse council for Assocham Punjab and work actively with the government for the progress of the state.
