Punjab Cabinet Minister S Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal released Abhiroop Kaur Mann’s first collection of English stories, “Insight Inscribed”, today. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Dhaliwal highlighted the significance of youth involvement in literature for creating a fair society.
“The younger generation joining together is a positive sign. To build a better world, they must connect with literature and contribute to creating pro-people literature,” he said.
Mr. Dhaliwal emphasized literature’s role in shaping society, serving as a mirror reflecting good and bad events, and inspiring readers. He acknowledged the Punjab government’s commitment to supporting writers and artists.
Advocate Amandeep Kaur Dhaliwal praised the growing interest in literature among girls, citing the crucial contributions of women writers. SS Mrs. Jaspal Kaur Guraya expressed pride in her daughter’s literary debut.
Abhiroop Kaur Mann shared insights into her book, exploring various genres. Dr. Parampreet Kaur Mann thanked the guests, including Khushpal Singh Dhaliwal, Hardeep Singh, Amandeep Kaur, and Praneet Kaur.
The event underscored the importance of reconnecting Punjabi youth with literature and promoting creative writing to combat social evils and preserve cultural heritage.
