Kuldeep Singh Takhar may not be a famous personality in the Punjabi entertainment industry; however, his stage name KS Makhan has definitely marked a special space in audience’s hearts.
Starting his career in 1997, he gave back to back hits like ‘Mottar Mitran Di’, ‘Takle’, ‘Fight’ to name a few. But after being baptized in 2013, he decided to sing only meaningful songs. Adding another song to this list, he has recently released his next track ‘Soormey’.
The lyrics of this number are penned by Jatinder Nijjer. The music of the song is given by Prince Ghuman under Arsara Music label which has also produced movies like ‘Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo’.
Along with this they have given many back to back songs like ‘Range’, ‘Tera Eh Pyar’. The video of the song is directed by Shivam. The whole project is produced by Raj Bhachu. This song is Sunny Jandu’s presentation.

Sharing his thoughts about the song, KS Makhan said, “Now it has been quite a time when I decided to sing the songs that convey a message and will impact society positively, however every time when I try to come up with a new song, I try something different and fresh. ‘Soormey’ is particularly a song that is dedicated to brave souls and to their never giving up attitude.
This song also reminds us the great warrior tradition of Punjab.” The director of the song, Shivam said, “Showcasing a song on screen with such meaningful lyrics is not an easy task. However, I tried my best to do justice with the song and I just hope people will appreciate our efforts and love this song.”
