Reality television star Khloe Kardashian has revealed that her daughter, True, is encouraging her to have a third child, hoping for a younger sister.
Khloe shares eight-year-old True and four-year-old son Tatum with her former partner, basketball player Tristan Thompson, 35. Tatum was born via surrogacy in 2022.
Speaking with television personality Paige DeSorbo, 33, on the latest episode of her podcast Khloe in Wonder Land, Khloe said True has been asking for a sister.
“All True does, she wants a sister,” Khloe said.
The reality star also disclosed that she still has a frozen embryo from the in vitro fertilisation (IVF) process she underwent with Thompson, but remains uncertain about having another child.
“She’s on ice, but I just don’t know,” Khloe said, referring to the embryo.
Khloe, who has four sisters — Kourtney Kardashian, 47, Kim Kardashian, 45, Kendall Jenner, 30, and Kylie Jenner, 29 — said her own experience has shaped her belief in the importance of sisterhood.
“Girls need a sister,” she said, while also questioning whether her perspective was influenced by growing up with sisters. “But am I just programmed to think that?”
DeSorbo, who does not have a sister, said she shares a close bond with her brother and believes strong sibling relationships reflect family dynamics.
“I think being close with your siblings is honestly a testament to your parents because I know a lot of siblings who don’t even speak,” she said.
She added that she has developed a sister-like relationship with her brother’s fiancée, explaining that they treat each other as sisters despite not having sisters of their own.
Khloe responded that True could also develop a similar bond without her having another child.
“That is your new sister. True can still have that, without the freezer baby,” she said.
