Khaira mocks Congress’ choice for Bathinda, says Raja Warring’s presence would create humour

Chandigarh, April 23, 2019 (Yes Punjab News)

Sukhpal Singh Khaira president of Punjab Ekta Party (PEP) and candidate of Punjab Democratic Alliance from Bathinda Lok Sabha seat today mocked Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, the Congress nominee from Bathinda and described him a clown gossip monger.

While addressing series of meetings in Maur constituency Khaira said that Raja Warring has all the characteristics of a lousy politician who is arrogant and assumes he always know what’s best, he make promises which he can’t deliver in reality, he has no clear vision, a disorgansied personality and not aware of what is happening in his own party.

He said that there was no place for such a fake person in the public life. At the most, Raja Warring’s presence would create some humor for the people of Bathinda, he added.

Khaira said that Congress has already given up Bathinda and Ferozepur seats by fielding dummy candidates. He said that there seems a behind the scene compromise between Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and Badal family. He added that during assembly poll of 2017, Capt Amarinder Singh had contested from Lambi to ensure victory of Parkash Singh Badal and in Jalalabad he brought Ravneet Singh Bittu to save Sukhbir Singh Badal.

He said that he had accepted the challenge from Bathinda to defeat union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal because it was evident that Congress will compromise Bathinda seat for Badal family.

He said that Sher Singh Ghubaya was given ticket from Ferozepur by Congress to benefit SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal. He said that Badal family had no courage to declare their candidates from two seats until a compromise is not struck with Congress.

Khaira said that SAD candidate Harsimrat Kaur was on slippery wicket due to poor performance as a minister and shady deals of her family including sacrilege of holy Guru Granth Sahib and misrule of last ten years. He said that people of Punjab have not forgiven Badal family for promoting drug mafia, cable mafia, mining mafia and transport mafia.

He said that SAD backed Congress in 2017 assembly elections and it was soft transfer of power from Badal family to Capt Amarinder Singh. The mafia culture is unchanged and drugs are sold with immunity under the present regime, he stated.

Khaira said that people of Bathinda would create a new history by defeating Badal family members in Bathinda and Ferozepur. He said that PDA would strongly oppose Sukhbir Badal in Ferozepur.

He said that the PDA would offer a third political alternative to people of Punjab. He said that SAD and Congress were two sides of same coin and they have common agenda of looting the state resources.
