Kangana a BJP mouthpiece, Sunny Deol acting against interests of farmers: Ravneet Bittu

New Delhi, December 10, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
Ravneet Singh Bittu, a Congress MP from Punjab has slammed Kangana Ranaut and Sunny Deol for acting against the interests of farmers of country, especially those from Punjab.

Bittu is on an indefinite dharna at Jantar Mantar along with fellow MPs and MLAs from Punjab said Kangna has lost relevance after shedding her independent character and now stands reduced to just being a mouthpiece of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP).

The Ludhiana MP said that actors from Bollywood and renowned Punjabi singers and actors had come out in support of Kangana Ranaut when Maharashtra Government and the Shiv Sena targeted her. She was even termed ‘Sherni’ by some of our stars but to please BJP, Kangana stooped so low that she not only dubbed Punjab farmers as Khalistanis but also insulted an elderly Punjabi lady by stating that such ladies have come to Delhi for Rs.100 a day.

Heaping insult on an elderly Punjabi lady has not gone down well with all the right-thinking people and Punjabis across the globe and from ‘most favored’ and ‘most supported’, Kangana has now come up as the ‘most hated’ character.

“What does she know about Punjabi women?”, Bittu said, adding that she cannot be and certainly is not an expert on all the matters.

Taking on, Sunny Deol, the Bollywood actor and BJP MP from Gurdaspur, Bittu said he was blatantly working against the interest of farmers.

Sunny seems to be following ‘His Master’s Voice’ and has ditched the farmers who voted for him in big numbers considering him to be one amongst them.

“In fact, Sunny has brought a bad name to Dharmendra, the ‘Punjabi Puttar’ of Bollywood who is not loved but respected in Punjab by one and all, Bittu said.

People of Gurdaspur gave a red carpet welcome to Sunny, showered flower petals and voted for him even as the rest of Punjab voted for Congress, but Sunny ditched the people of his constituency. He didn’t even care to come back to his constituency and be amongst them during difficult times of Covid-19.

“He moves freely to Delhi, Manali and everywhere else but has completely abandoned the people of Gurdaspur,” Bittu said.
