Kabul Gurdwara Attack: Badal appeals Modi to intervene and ensure safety of Afghanistan Sikhs

Chandigarh, March 26, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)

Five-time Chief Minister Sardar Parkash Singh Badal today described as an “outrage against humanity” the dastardly attack on a sacred Gurdwara Sahib in Kabul, Afghanistan.

In a statement here, S. Badal said, “This dastardly and gruesome terrorist attack on innocent and devout Sikhs, in which at least 27 devotees lost their lives, is a blot on humanity’s face. The entire Sikh jagat and the mankind at large is feeling deeply aggrieved and outraged over this inhuman act.”

S. Badal appealed to Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi to immediately intervene personally with the Afghanistan government and ask them to take effective steps to ensure the safety and security of all Sikhs living in that country.

S. Badal has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the aggrieved families and has prayed to the almighty for peace to the departed souls and strength to the members of the affected families to bear this irreparable loss.
