Judges of District and Sub Divisional Courts along with court staff would also hoist/display Tricolour during ” Har Tiranga Campaign” scheduled from August 13 to 15.
Divulging details after holding a meeting with DC NPS Randhawa and SSP Bhagirath Singh Meena, here at Court Complex today, District & Sessions Judge, Kanwaljit Singh Bajwa said that in tandem with nation-wide celebrations of 75th anniversary of Independence Day as “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, the judicial courts would also participate in Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign in the district.
Besides hoisting/displaying National Flag at District Courts SBS Nagar, Nawanshahr and Sub Divisional Courts Balachaur, the tricolour would also be hoisted/displayed at the houses of all the judicial officers and staff, he added.
He said that the judiciary would, in fact, motivate the lawyers associated with the district and sub divisional courts to participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign with zeal to express solidarity with the nation on this day of National Importance.
Earlier, chairing a meeting on review of bail to undertrials of petty crimes, he asked the district police to prepare the final list of such persons to whom bail can be granted through the courts of judicial officers.
The other officers who attended the meeting included ADC (G) Rajiv Verma, DLSA Secretary CJM Kamaldeep Singh Dhaliwal.
