As part of the ongoing drive to curb drug trafficking, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police Station Bhargo Camp team has successfully arrested three individuals and recovered 16.8 grams of heroin from their possession.
Providing details, Commissioner of Police Jalandhar, Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur (IPS), said that under the special campaign against suspicious individuals and drug peddlers, the Police team of PS Bhargo Camp apprehended three accused persons. The arrested individuals have been identified as:
1.Neeraj, son of Bhola Nath, resident of House No. 93/2, Bhargo Camp, Jalandhar
2.Manav, son of Keemti Lal, resident near Kabir Mandir, Bhargo Camp, Jalandhar
3.Kunal, son of Somanath, resident of House No. 66/11, Bhargo Camp, Jalandhar
Police recovered 5.20 grams of heroin from Neeraj, 5.6 grams from Manav, and 6 grams from Kunal.
An FIR No. 156 dated 10.10.2025 under Sections 21-61-85 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bhargo Camp. The accused have been remanded to police custody for further interrogation to trace the source of the drugs and identify others involved in this network.
