Jalandhar leads Punjab in disposing applications of citizen-centric services: Ghanshyam Thori

Adding another feather its cap, Jalandhar had once-again become a leading district in the Punjab by disposing applications of citizen-centric services through Sewa Kendras within a stipulated timeframe.

Lauding the entire team of district administration, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that the administration had received 377478 applications from July 4, 2021 to July 3, 2022 in 35 Sewa Kendras of the district and all the applications had been settled well before timeline of applications.

He said that none of application was pending at the district. He said that the district administration was committed to provide citizens services in a hassle-free manner.

Thori asked the officers to continue to exhibit such commitment and zeal to ensure zero pendency in future too. He said that 425 different types of services were being offered to the people through Sewa Kendras and clear directions had been issued to the officials to adhere to timelines of the applications.
