Jalandhar all set for Light & Sound Show and Digital Museum to be organized from Oct 15 to 17

The stage was all set for grand light and sound show and digital museum in Lyallpur Khalsa College from October 15-17, 2019.

Both the soulful events are being organized to commemorate the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

While chairing a meeting and inspecting the site in Lyallpur Khalsa College, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the life of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji would be exhibited through the digital museum and two light and sound shows.

They informed that the digital museum would be stationed at the ground of college from October 15-17 and people can visit it from 6:30 am to 6 pm on these three days.

Similarly, on the second day (October 16) and last day (October 17), two light and sound shows on each day will be held on the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji from 7 pm-7:45 pm and from 8:30 pm-9:15 pm.

They said that the digital museum will be opened to the public for three days continuously while the 45-minute light and sound show with colourful visual presentations, ultra-modern laser techniques and unique acoustics will be open on two days (second and last.

The Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police told that Member of Parliament (MP) Chaudhary Santokh Singh will formally inaugurate the event on Tuesday Morning .

Meanwhile, Mr Sharma and Mr Bhullar deputed senior officials on different duties and directed them to perform their duties with utmost dedication to make the event most successful.

The Deputy Commissioner and Police Commissioner instructed the officials of various departments including police, health, education, water supply and sanitation, PSPCL, PWD (B and R), Municipal Corporation, Fire Brigade and others to ensure the necessary arrangements for the event at the site ready.

They said that the people must be facilitated at any cost so that they would not be deprived of witnessing such special ultra-modern spiritual program.

They said that no stone should be left to un-turn for the success of the events and no laxity and negligence will be tolerated.

They also exhorted the people to whole-heartedly participate in these events, which are being organized to mark the 550th Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He said that entry for the event is quite free and all the arrangements have been taken place for the convenience of the visitors.

On the occasion, ADC (G) Mr Jasbir Singh, SDM-1 Dr Jai Inder Singh, DCP Mr Gurmeet Singh, ADCP-1 Ms D Sudarvizhi, ADCP-2 Mr PS Bhandal, PWD (B and R) Executive Engineer Mr BS Tuli, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr Gurmeet Kaur Duggal, ACP Mr BIS Kahlon, ACP Mr HS Bhalla, College Principal Mr Gurpinder Singh Samra and others were present.
