In a shocking incident, Parminder Singh Dhingra, a prominent Jalandhar-based lawyer and President of the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF), was shot dead on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in broad daylight, leaving the community in disbelief. Dhingra, aged around 40, was fatally shot on the spot, allegedly by a neighbour during a heated altercation that escalated unexpectedly.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, and his elderly parents, who now mourn the tragic and untimely loss.
