Chandigarh, November 28, 2020 (Yes Punjab News)
Slamming the forces trying to defame the farmers struggle, President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Mr Sunil Jakhar today urged the farmers to remain vigilant of all such attempts .

In a statement issued here today, the President of Punjab Congress also condemned the registration of FIR against Farmers by Haryana government and demanded immediate quashing of all such cases.

Rubbishing all the news items pertaining to funding by some anti-national forces to the struggle, he said that the food growers of the country were not struggling for any such help but they are on warpath for securing their rights. Mr Jakhar exhorted the farmers organisations to remain vigilant from the nefarious designs of some forces to defame them.

The President of Punjab Congress unequivocally said that the immense contribution of Punjabis for peace and prosperity of country cannot be ignored. Taking strong exception on statement of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar that these farmers were only from Punjab, he said that farmers from across the country are protesting against these draconian laws and BJP was issuing such baseless and divisive statements to weaken the struggle.

Mr Jakhar said that Haryana government should quash all the FIRs registered against farmers adding that farmers from not only Punjab but Haryana had also moved to national capital.
