Punjab Government has appointed IPS Rakesh Kaushal (SPS:2009) as DIG Border Range.
The IPS officer, till now serving as DIG Crime, Punjab, Chandigarh has now been transferred as DIG, Border Range, in compliance of orders of Election Commission.
The ECI had yestereday ordered the transfer of Border Range DIG Narendra Bhargava, IPS.
