Interfaith Global Summit dedicated to 550th Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev organized at Ludhiana

Dedicated to 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Alliance for Sikh organisation organised Interfaith Global Summit at Dr. Manmohan Singh Auditorium of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) on Sunday.

The prominent personalities from different religions including Giani Harpreet Singh Ji, Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Kevin Arstide, Jewish Scholar Switzerland, BK Ankita Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, Maulana Muhammad Umair Alasi Chief Imam, India, Nicholas Vreeland, Director The Tibetan Center New York and Rev. FR. Ajeet Patrick Secretary to Bishop Delhi attended the event.

Host of the Summit, Parampal Singh and Gursahib Singh said that the Interfaith Summit was dedicated to 550th Birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev ji and motive was to bring all the religious leaders on United Platform and to interact with gathering. Around 2000 persons attended the Summit.

Priest of Akal Takht Giani Harpreet Singh Ji said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji always advocated the equality, serve humanity and follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji will be the real tribute to Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

BK Ankita from Brahmakumaris World Spiritual University said that the feeling of brotherhood should be developed among all religions. In past, 70 percent of wars were held due to religion but the people should be aware and avoid hatership. BK Ankita said that meditation is the way to reach god.

The other speakers said that god is inside the human and we should respect the humanity. The Conference was attended by Prabhjot Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Dodar Singh, Mehal Singh, Harpreet Singh, Iqbal Singh, Gouravdeep Singh, Jatinderpal Singh besides several others. The members of more than 100 associations and NGO take part in the conference.
