On the occasion of 550th Prakash utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, IT and Management departments of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions organized one day trip at Sultanpur Lodhi and Goindwal Sahib. The purpose of trip was to provide knowledge to the students about prominent historical Gurudwaras at Sultanpur Lodhi dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev ji and Guru Amar Dass Ji.
At Sultanpur Lodhi, Guru Nanak Dev ji spend 14 years of his life and attained enlightenment after taking a dip in the Pavitar Bein. Goindwal Sahib became an imperative centre for Sikhism during the Guruship of Guru Amar Das ji.
During the visit management department students along with their faculty members visit Gurudwara Ber Sahib where Guru Nanak Dev ji used to meditate under a Ber tree, Pavitar Bein, Tent City and Gurudwara Hatt Sahib. Students of IT department visit Gurudwara Bowli Sahib and Khadoor Sahib. It was really an recreational and educational trip for students.
The trip was organized by Dr. Updesh Khinda (Associate Prof, Management Dept.) and Ms. Punit (HoD, IT) under the guidance of Group Director Dr. Shailesh Tripathi.
