Shiromani Akali Dal today described the Chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s statement on his resignation post poll results show the utter chaos, confusion and conditions of civil war in the Congress in the face of imminent defeat. ” Captain Amaridner Singh has clearly stated that his statement is aimed at his own party men like Bajwa.

What can be more disastrous for a party than a Chief Minister at war with his own party colleagues that too on the polling day?” said the party spokesperson Harcharan Singh Bains in a statement here today , adding that “imminent defeat has already set the cat among the pigeons in the Congress party.”

“Everyone in the Congress is talking defeat for their party First Sidhu ruined their rally at Bathinda by declaring war against the Chief minister and now.

Now, Captain Singh has himself said that is statement on resignation is in response to his own party men’s tirade against him. In between Partap Singh Bajwa had fired a salvo against the CM. And all this had started by captain threatening to sack his cabinet and party colleagues in the event of defeat in their areas.
