A seminar on Drug De Addiction was organized at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University main Campus with the aim of raising awareness against Drug addiction. This seminar was organized by the management department of the university.
In this, Dr. Jaspreet Singh, Medical Officer of Patti District Tarn Taran joined as the main speaker. Mr Danish, a team counselor was also joined.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Jaspreet Singh, told how even a drug made in jokes or ignorance can destroy a human life. He also told about the poison being spread by dissolving intoxicating in blood. He also talked about the decline in daily lifestyle due to the presence of drugs in the blood.
Dr. Jaspreet Singh said that human life has happened to work on the society, build community and raise awareness about the community of positive people, so everyone has a duty to work together against social evils. Awareness tips were given to younger generations by his colleague Danish. He also gave information about drug treatment centers in Punjab.
University’s Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma inspired the students to stay away from drugs. Prof. (Dr.) Yadwinder Singh Brar, Head Academic Campus also addressed this seminar. Program Coordinator Dr. Rajpreet Kaur thanked all the guests.
On this occasion, Dr. Harmeen Kaur Soch, Head of Management Department, Faculty Dr. Kapil Gupta, Dr. Pooja Mehta, Dr. Rupali Batra, Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Dr. Mandeep Kaur, Dr. Medha Goyal and Mandeep Kaur were also present.
