I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) management issued orders to increase the pay scale of its employees on Thursday. As per the orders, the salary for the month of May, which is now available to the employees in the month of June, will be released as per the new increase orders. After this decision employees delivered satisfaction note to University Registrar Dr S.K.Mishra. They also convened a Thanks giving Meeting at the University after 5 pm in which all the B,C,D category employees give note of thanks in the name of Vice Chancellor of the University Mr. Rahul Bhandari, I.A.S.
The motion of thanks presented by the President of the Association Pawan Kumar Khichhi said that it was a matter of great pride that in the first 15 days of the tenure of Vice Chancellor Rahul Bhandari ji and Registrar Dr S.K Mishra they had been addressed months pending demand on priority. He assured that the University employees would always work sincerely in the interest of the University.
On this occasion the Registrar Dr. Mishra was invited for Thanksgiving. Registrar Dr. Mishra said that he was committed to protect the rights of all as per the rules. Inspired them all to work together for the betterment of the interests of the University.
Deputy Registrar HRM Dr. Pawan Kumar, Public Relations Officer Rajneesh Kumar Sharma were also present on the occasion.
