IKGPTU Dean Dr AP Singh retires

The Dean Research and Development at I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) Dr. Anirudh Pratap Singh retired today after meritorious service of almost 10 years at University. He has the experience of 35 years of working on academic as well as various administrative positions.

During his tenure of job, he worked in state government and centre govt. level institutions at various locations on various positions. It includes G.B. Pant Engineering college, Paudi Garhwal, IIT, BHU Varanasi and Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus, Ferozpur.

On the occasion of retirement of Dr. Anirudh Pratap Singh, a farewell party was organized by General Administration and Public Relations department of the University. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar Sharma was the Chief Guest and he wished Dr. A.P. Singh for their new beginning of life. Remembering his tenure VC Dr Sharma said that Dr. A.P. Singh’s invaluable services in the University will always be remembered. He said that Dr. Singh got appreciation for his work in every field and on each position at University.

He did his best job in the interest of University as well as in the interest of society and students. VC recognized his tremendous work to build reputation of university’s PhD level education, which is recognized globally.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Sharma said that he believes that Dr. Anirudh Pratap Singh will start his next innings as a champion and from time to time will continue to guide students and the field of education with his selfless spirit.

Dean Academics Dr. Vikas Chawla, Registrar Sandeep Kumar Kazal, Incharge VC Secretariat Dr. Hitesh Sharma also addressed the bid adieu ceremony. Assistant Registrar Saurabh Sharma conducted the stage in well manners.
