BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said here today that the Haryana Congress had demonstrated eloquently the exploitative manner in which women are treated in the party .
In a statement Chugh said the manner in which former chief minister Bhupinder Hooda is getting the tractor he is sitting on pulled by women MLAs of the party clearly demonstrated that the Congress leaders were still living in the old feudal times when women were subjected to third degree treatment.
Chugh demanded immediate removal of Hooda as a leader of opposition and suspended as an MLA as, he said, it was a disgrace to not only to the womenfolk but also to the entire Assembly.
Chugh said Hooda’s act shameful for the farming community as well whose cause he has been espousing. “This is not the way farmers have been exploiting women in the society. It is shame for the entire country”, Chugh added.
