Haryana Police seizes stolen truck carrying laptops worth Rs.8-crore

The Haryana Police has cracked a case in which a gang had robbed a truck carrying a consignment of laptops worth Rs 8 crore in Nuh district. Police has also recovered 1294 units of laptops of a prominent brand which were stolen by the miscreants.

Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed Police had got a secret input that two accused identified as Niyamat and Naeem, both residents of Nuh district on the behest of the vehicle owner had stolen a truck loaded with laptops from the company. The accused were unloading the vehicle at an empty plot in village Raipuri.

Acting swiftly, the police team immediately raided the location and recovered the truck bearing Rajasthan registration number laden with 1294 units of Lenovo laptops worth Rs 8 crore. However, the miscreants managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness. Efforts are on to trace the location of miscreants and they would be arrested very soon.

A case was registered against the accused under relevant IPC sections and further investigation is being done.

Meanwhile, DGP Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal had appreciated the Superintendent of Police Nuh and his team who have done a commendable job with this huge recovery of electronic gadgets.

In a separate case, Police has arrested a wanted criminal identified as Saleem aka Ganja carrying a reward of Rs 3000 from Nuh district. Police had got secret input about the criminal, who was wanted in multiple criminal cases in Haryana, Rajashtan, and Delhi.
