Haryana Police has promoted 49 personnel of GRP and Commando Wing in State Police Force with immediate effect.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that out of the total, 31 police personnel have been promoted in GRP Haryana whereas 18 have been elevated to the higher ranks in Commando Wing.
Giving details about promotions in GRP, he said that seven Head Constables have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) and three ASIs promoted to the rank of Sub-Inspectors. Similarly, 21 EASIs have been elevated to the rank of ESIs after completion of 30 years service.
In Commando Wing, he said that one Constable has also been promoted to the rank of Head Constable, 14 HCs as ASIs and three ASIs have been promoted as Sub-Inspectors.
Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police, Railways and Commando, Ajay Singhal congratulated the police officers and added that it would boost their morale and they will serve the people with added zeal, dedication and hard work.
