Haryana Police bust illegal arms manufacturing unit in Rajasthan’s Kathaul

Haryana Police has busted an illegal arms manufacturing unit in Rajasthan’s Kathaul village and arrested two accused including the key supplier of illegal arms.

Sharing the information here today, the Haryana Police spokesperson informed that key arms supplier identified as Bilaal, a resident of Kathaul village in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan was arrested. The police team recovered 3 desi katta and a machine used in the manufacturing of illegal weapons from his factory. Apart from this, his co-accused identified as Sakeel of Salahedi was also nabbed along with 2 guns of .312 bore, one pistol and 50 cartridges.

The illegal arms manufacturing unit was busted following the interrogation of two arms suppliers, Gurvinder and Manjeet, who were arrested in Nuh district on July 4. The police team had seized 4 pistols, 3 desi katta and 7 magazines from their possession.

The Crime Investigation team interrogated Gurvinder and Manjeet to ascertain the source from where they had procured these weapons. Getting some leads, the police team raided the location and arrested the accused involved in the illegal manufacturing and supplying of weapons.

A case has been registered against them and a thorough probe into the case is underway.
