Haryana Director General of Police, Mr. Manoj Yadava today honored three IT professionals with Commendation Certificates for their significant contribution in developing of ‘Online B-1 Test’ during the year 2019 and in developing ‘Durga Shakti App’ for Haryana Police regarding safety of women.
Mr Munish Chandan, Head, State e-Mission Team and Mr Puneet Kant, Senior Consultant were honored in recognition of their good work, showing great zeal and devotion in developing software for ‘Online B-1 Test, whereas Mr Mukesh Kumar was honored in recognition of contribution in developing ‘Durga Shakti App’ for safety and security of women and girls in the State.
The three IT professionals today visited the Police Headquarters to receive this prestigious honour from the Director General of Police, Haryana.
On this occasion, Additional Director General of Police, Admin & IT, Haryana Mr A.S. Chawla said that the State had taken the initiative to start unified online B-1 test for the promotion of Constables, which is getting better results. With the implementation of this system, there is a healthy competition amongst the constables, as well as the habit of using computers by police personnel has also increased, he added.
Mr. Chawla informed that Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal had launched Durga Shakti app from Panchkula on 12th July, 2018. Considering it the best e-initiative to ensure the safety of women, this mobile app has also been awarded with many awards at the National level.
